Bitcoins are the first decentralized digital currency in action that are not bound to artificial inflation or deflation in their value.

Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto was believed to be the inventor and founder of this first decentralized crytocurrency "Bitcoin" who showed his Protocol of Peer to Peer Transaction to the world first through his whitepaper released in "The Crytography Mailing List" on Oct 2008 which paved ways to growth of Bitcoin which described how crytocurrencies would operate in future.

Further to it, Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto released the first version of open source bitcoin software code on January 2009. He has conferred Bitcoin as " A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" which is true to be named appropriately.

Though some are using Thai Baht symbol ฿ as Bitcoin Symbol, but the generally accepted Bitcoin symbol is Bitcoin Symbol and Bitcoin is listed as "XBT" in the ISO 4217 currency code. The unit name "BTC" is commonly used to represent one Bitcoin in Exchange Listings.
