to have your vacations during peak travel times, like New Year, Thanksgiving, Christmas
or Independence Day, where you will pay significantly more for
hotels, rental cars, and flights than you would during a less-busy time.

While peak
tourist season varies by destination, it’s usually dependent on a few common
things such as summer vacation, festivals and local celebrations. Summer
vacation means kids are out of school, so many families are forced to take
their vacations during this time. Summer also means that the weather is warm,
so many beaches and cities are crowded with tourists hoping for great weather.
Many places have their peak season at the opposite time.
